The US dollar is sitting at two-month highs, and hawkish Fed comments are all over the wires. In a normal market, that's a death sentence for risk assets. But this isn't a normal market.
Bitcoin is up nearly thirteen percent on the week, holding eighty-five thousand five hundred dollars. Solana is up over twenty percent. This rally is happening directly into the teeth of a macro headwind that should be stopping it cold.
This is a stress test for the 'digital gold' narrative. The data shows Bitcoin is decoupling from Treasury yields, and instead trading like a counter-currency. It's ignoring the Fed and focusing on its own internal flows and a defiance of the dollar system itself.
I'm tracking this developing story on the 'Bitcoin's Digital Gold Narrative' page on korra dot finance. The real tell is the eighty-seven thousand two hundred dollar resistance level. If Bitcoin can break through that while the dollar stays strong, it's a whole new game.
